摘要
•From room temperature to 77 K, the tensile, flexural and compressive strength of basalt fiber reinforced polymer (BFRP) increased by 52.4%, 52.3% and 69.1%, respectively.•BFRP presented higher tensile breaking strain at 77 K than at room temperature with the increase of 23.1%.•BFRP presented almost the same tensile strength with CFRP at 77 K, and far higher than glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) according to available literature.
