摘要
Epigenetic mechanisms have been implicated in the etiology of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Considering the cell- and tissue-specific nature of epigenetic alterations, studies evaluating cell-type specificity and human postmortem brain tissue are warranted. Here, we examine DNA methylation (5mC) and hydroxymethylation (5hmC) at both CpGs and non-CpGs in human postmortem orbitofrontal neurons in PTSD.
