摘要
38-million people worldwide have HIV. Despite antiviral therapy (ART), people with HIV can develop HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND). Immune and metabolic dysregulation contribute to HAND but are also altered by ART. This study investigated the effect of tenofovir alafenamide fumarate (TAF) on astrogliosis (GFAP), microgliosis (Iba1), cannabinoid receptor expression, (CB1), and behavior in wild type (wt) and transgenic mice which express the HIV envelope protein gp120 (gp120).
