Concomitant cannabidiol does not impact safety and effectiveness of diazepam nasal spray for seizure clusters: Post hoc analysis of a phase 3 safety study

•People with seizure clusters may also receive cannabidiol as daily treatment.•Cannabidiol did not increase adverse event rates related to diazepam nasal spray.•Cannabidiol did not affect second-dose use (effectiveness) of diazepam nasal spray.•Diazepam nasal spray was safe and effective for those who used cannabidiol.
