摘要
•Silica-supported g-C3N4/WO3 was synthesized via two-step heat treatment method.•Photocatalytic degradation of estrone hormone evaluated under UV and visible light.•Optimum testing conditions were obtained using the RSM-Box Behnken model approach.•Degradation kinetics and adsorption isotherms were investigated.•The bactericidal and recyclability of the nanocomposite were determined.
