摘要

•Ammonia is used as working fluid in manifold microchannel heat sink for the first time.•The influence of operating conditions on the thermal–hydraulic performance was explored extensively.•The heat sink has outstanding heat dissipation capacity for a hot spot of 1542 W/cm2 and 1 mm × 6 mm with the heating surface temperature of 68.05 ℃ and a pressure drop of 10.6 kPa.
