Perspectives of patients and professionals on patient education in complex endovascular aortic repair.

Several differences were found in the perspective of patients and professionals on education in complex aortic aneurysm management. In order to optimize patient involvement in decision-making, professionals should be aware of these possible discrepancies and address them during consultation. Future research could focus on these differences in more detail, by including more patients depending on their treatment- and decision stage.
