[Progress of researches on techniques for detection of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in intermediate host snails].

Angiostrongyliasis cantonensis is an emerging infectious disease in China. Snails are intermediate hosts of and play a critical role in the transmission of angiostrongyliasis cantonensis. Detection of in snails is an important part of epidemiological surveys. Currently, the rapid developments in the techniques for detection of in snails facilitate the surveillance of angiostrongyliasis cantonensis and provide an important support for angiostrongyliasis cantonensis prevention and control. This review summarizes the advances in the techniques for detection of in snails.
