摘要

•Unconditional stability and optimal error estimates of FEMs for a class of generalized nonlinear coupled Schrodinger equations with Caputo-type derivatives are mainly considered in this work.•FEM with nonuniform temporal meshes is constructed.•Fast algorithms based on sum-of-exponentials technique is built for the numerical schemes.
