Association of BRCA mutation status with the efficacy of poly (ADP- ribose) polymerase inhibitors in cancer: A systematic review and meta-analysis

• BRCA-associated difference with PARP inhibitor sensitivity in cancer is unknown. • BRCAm patients had higher PFS than BRCAn patients in PARP inhibitor treatment. • No significant survival differences were found between BRCA1m and BRCA2m patients. • BRCA mutation detection is of great importance in PARP inhibitor usage.
