Abstract
The process of extracting vanadium from hot metal by converter is a pretreatment process of hot metal, which oxidizes vanadium in hot metal containing vanadium into vanadium slag and separates it from hot metal. The mass transfer rate of vanadium in hot metal diffusing to the reaction interface is the limiting link of vanadium oxidation reaction. Therefore, in order to improve the vanadium yield, it is necessary to optimize the bottom blowing parameters of vanadium extraction converter, strengthen the stirring of the bath and improve the dynamic conditions of the bath. When increasing the bottom blowing intensity of vanadium extraction converter from 0.022 to 0.037 Nm3/(t·min), the flow dead zone area of converter bath is reduced, the dynamic conditions of converter bath are improved, and the vanadium yield is increased from 89.07 to 89.66
