Investigation on expression of adenovirus receptors CXADR and CD46 in laryngeal carcinoma for potential adenoviral therapy

Introduction An investigation of the adenovirus receptors, Cocksackie Adenovirus Receptor (CXADR) and Cluster of Differentiation 46 (CD46), has already been performed in various malignancies. However, little is known about their expression and prognostic significance in laryngeal carcinomas. The aim of the study was to extend the knowledge in this regard in order to be able to improve adenoviral oncolytic therapy in laryngeal carcinomas.
