摘要
Inductive power transfer is promising to charge various movable objects. Considering the diversity and uncertain number of target devices, it is challenging to use a standard and modular solution to meet various practical demands. This brief proposes a dual-band design to achieve a reconfigurable planar charging system. When planar square coil cells are adjacently placed to define the charging area, two types of modular cells are designed based on high-order compensations. They would utilize specific band-pass and band-stop filtering effect to minimize the cross coupling of the transmitter. The receiver with two band-pass frequencies is proposed to match the proposed transmitter. The output dependence on each input excitation and load are discussed in the simulation. The experiment shows that the proposed reconfigurable concept is able to freely define the charging area for different-size receiver, address the misalignment issue, and charge multiple receivers.
