摘要
This article considers the possibility of using low-temperature plasma generated by a radio frequency (RF) plasma torch to maintain stable combustion of ammonia in oxygen using the methods of 3-D modeling. Several detailed and reduced kinetic mechanisms have been used to characterize an ammonia combustion chamber. The distributions of the combustion chamber’s parameters are obtained for various modes of its operation. The results can be used in the design of advanced ammonia combustion devices.
