摘要
This paper proposes a transmit antenna subset selection (TASS) scheme in the cooperative spatial modulation multiple-input multiple-output (CSM-MIMO) system with decode-and-forward (DF) protocol. Specifically, the relay selects the best TA subset via maximizing the minimum squared Euclidean distance (MSED) for the transmission to the destination. The relay then feedbacks the index of the chosen TA subset to the source. At the destination, the maximum likelihood detection (MLD) is taken. Based on the order statistics and union bounding technique, a closed-form analytical average bit error rate (ABER) of the CSM-MIMO system with the proposed TASS scheme is derived. Numerical results verify that the analytical ABER performance matches the Monte Carlo simulation well. The proposed TASS in the CSM-MIMO system outperforms the existing CSM-MIMO and non-CSM-MIMO (NCSM-MIMO) schemes with more transmit diversity, and achieves superior ABER performance than the typical TASS methods.
