•WMA and HMA are feasible with high RAP content and WCO as a rejuvenator.•Marshall test is suitable to estimate the WCO content of fully recycled RAP.•Aged and unaged AC with high RAP rate with WCO revealed suitable performance.•RAP with WCO revealed proper behaviour even for low air voids content.•RAP with WCO is suitable for medium / low-traffic road pavements.
