摘要
We firstly revealed the texture of an additive manufactured Co-Cr-Mo alloy at the macroscale, which was produced by laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) using a scan strategy of 72 degrees between the layers. The results indicate that the texture observed at the local level (microscale) was superposed. Furthermore, the overall bulk texture (macroscale) does not simply result from an algebraic sum of individual layers. The Goss texture component was observed in bulk. Instead of 5-fold symmetry texture in bulk, the texture is orthorhombic/tetragonal symmetry. Since this phenomenon occurs due to the manufacturing parameters, which shows the potential that the texture of L-PBF alloys can be tuned for optimizing the microstructure and properties.
