Enlarged Virchow-Robin Spaces Contributing to Ventriculomegaly in a 37-Year-Old Woman

A 37-year-old woman with an 8-year history of asymptomatic giant tumefactive Virchow-Robin spaces (GTVRS) followed with annual MRI presented with new-onset skull base pain and nausea. MRI showed growth of cystic spaces in bilateral thalami and midbrain, with slight cerebral aqueduct narrowing and mild ventriculomegaly (Figure 1).
