摘要
study was carried out on the promoting activity of amides of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and amino acids in the formation of hydrates of methane and carbon dioxide. Most of the compounds studied in 0.05 mass % aqueous solution proved to be hydrate formation promoters in various stages of the formation process such as nucleation and growth. Foaming was not observed. The reagent derived from EDTA and leucine is a promoter of the formation of both methane and carbon dioxide hydrates. In the case of the carbon dioxide hydrate, the shortest induction time was found for the compounds of EDTA with asparagine (19±1 min) and with cysteic acid (29±1 min). The induction times were correspondingly 1.7 and 2.5 times shorter than for the system without additives.
