Children with ASD (CWA) and their families often experience a range of family adversity, financial strain, and accessing services and support. These adverse childhood events (ACEs) likely play an important role in whether the child receives special education or other developmental services—which may in turn impact educational outcomes. Thus, our objective was to create and analyze such a model using the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH).
