Efficient control of light propagation assisted by photothermal effect in a graphene-integrated all-fiber device

摘要
•A novel method to efficiently control light propagation is reported in a graphene-integrated all-fiber device.•The photothermal effect in graphene plays a critical role in controlling the light in the proposed device.•All-optical transmission control over 56 dB was achieved at 1550 nm.•Our all-fiber device will be potentially used as a temperature sensor or broadband optical sensor.
