Iodine catalyzed one-pot three-step synthesis of isoxazoles from primary alcohols and 3-O-propargyl flavones using DMSO as the oxidant

摘要
An effective, trivial, green and metal free iodine catalyzed approach for the production of isoxazoles from pri-mary alcohols and 3-O-propargyl flavones in one-pot three-step manner using DMSO as the oxidant has been developed. The stated methodology was promising for an extensive variety of primary alcohols and 3-O-prop-argyl flavones, generates isoxazoles within 10 h.
