摘要
Frequency selective surfaces are essential components to future smart city and smart building network infrastructure, allowing for range extension via reflective surfaces, security of sensitive communications, and interference management between adjacent access points. In this paper, an active dual band bandstop for the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi6E bands controlled by DC bias is presented with design and simulated data. The presented structure is designed to be integrated into large buildings for Wi-Fi management and incorporates signal polarization variations due to mounting location. The direction of the DC bias determines which band, or band portion, of the two Wi-Fi signals is blocked in the vertical polarization and controls the selection in the Wi-Fi6E band for horizontal polarization.
