Aims Endoscopic full thickness fundoplication (EFTP) by GERD-X device is a novel and easy to use technique for proton pump inhibitors (PPI) dependant Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients, has proven efficacy and safety on short term follow-up, but data regarding long term safety and efficacy is lacking [1] [2] [3].
