摘要
A study was conducted to enhance the resistance of Al6061 material to corrosion by utilising plasma oxidation to create an Aluminium oxide layer. The microstructure of the resulting samples was investigated using FESEM and XRD analyses, with a focus on the characteristics of wear and corrosion resistance. The formation of the oxide compound on the surface layer of the material resulted in an increase in its hardness. The study investigated process parameters such as current voltage, oxidation time, and electrolytic composition, and identified a relationship between them. The use of an electrolyte based on silicate was found to be highly effective in increasing the number of oxidation processes. The study concludes that the wear and corrosion resistance of high-strength Aluminium alloy can be improved through the process of plasma oxidation, making it a promising solution for industrial applications.
