摘要
•Honeycomb derived in-situ N-doped porous carbon modified separator is easily prepared for Li-S batteries.•The “dead sulfur” is reactivated due to the fast Li+ transfer and redox conversion of lithium polysulfides by the conductive separator.•The sulfur cathode with the modified separator show excellent long cycle stability.
