Loss-of-Field Protection Testing: Software and Hardware-in-the-Loop Approach

摘要
This paper presents the process of modeling and testing of the ANSI 40 protection function in real-time. The model was implemented in Typhoon HIL Control Center, a simulation toolchain by Typhoon HIL, Inc. The implementation was executed in software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL). In the HIL test, the device under test (DUT) is the IED model SEL-300G. The HIL Connect amplifier coupled to the HIL 604 real time simulator is used for the secondary level tests. The goal of this paper is to present different ways to test protection functions, according to the real need.
