Steady-State Vibration Responses of Open Cylindrical Shells Based on Reissner Theory
2023 14th International Conference on Mechanical and Intelligent Manufacturing Technologies (ICMIMT)(2023)
摘要
This study provides an effective analytical framework for determining the steady-state response of an open cylinder shell subjected to sinusoidal excitation. On the basis of the Reissner thin shell theory, the calculation formula for the natural frequency of an open cylindrical shell simply supported at all edges is derived, and the method’s accuracy is validated by comparing the calculated results to those of a commercial finite element method (FEM). Using the method of modal shape superposition, the calculation formula for the steady-state response of an open cylindrical shell subjected to sinusoidal excitation is derived after obtaining the natural frequencies and their corresponding modal shapes. Based on this, the impact of structural parameters of open cylindrical shells on the steady-state response is investigated. The results and conclusions of numerical examples can provide references for engineering applications.
