Niger (Guizotia abyssinica Cass.) is an important oilseed crop grown in many African countries as well as in India. Niger seed oil is used edible purposes in many parts of India including tribal populations of south Gujarat. The present work aims to explore the nutrient composition of different genotypes/varieties of niger.
