Design of Ka-Band Single-Anode Magnetron Injection Gun with Low Velocity Spread

摘要
The velocity spread of electron beam is an important parameter of electron gun. In order to obtain high quality electron beam, a single-anode magnetron injection gun(MIG) with low velocity spread is designed in this paper. The MIG works in the Ka-band, with the beam voltage of 60kV, beam current of 10A, and transverse to longitudinal velocity ratio of 1.2. And it can provide a electron beam with a transverse velocity spread of 1.6%.
