Pt Dendrimer-Encapsulated Nanoparticles Modified UMEAs for Electrochemiluminescence Heterogeneous Immunoassay

An open planar microfluidic chip with biomimetic nepenthes peristome structures and integrated ultramicroelectrode arrays (UMEAs) was microfabricated for electrochemiluminescence (ECL) heterogeneous immunoassay. Magnetic beads-based immunocomplex labelled with Ru@SiO2 were prepared for the detection of biomarker proteins. Magnetic beads -based immunocomplex were trapped in microwells developing monodisperse arrays on the surface of UMEAs under curvature-induced laplace pressure. Pt dendrimer encapsulated nanoparticles (Pt-DENs) modified indium tin oxide (ITO) UMEAs exhibited enhanced ECL response and excellent selectivity for the determination of cTnI, which provided new potential for ECL imaging the biomarker protein on a single magnetic bead.
