摘要

•Nix/TiO2-OV with ultra-high oxygen vacancy concentrations was prepared by preloaded oxygen vacancy.•The optimal Ni content after constructing preloaded oxygen vacancies was 8%.•The photocatalytic performance of 8Ni/TiO2-OV2 was nearly three times higher compared to that of 8Ni/TiO2.•Negative feedback was generated on the photocatalytic performance of Nix/TiO2-OV, while the oxygen vacancy concentration was too high.
