“A rare unfolding of buccal fibrolipoma—A remarkable oversized benign tumor in the oral cavity”

•→In this case report, we highlight a remarkable occurrence of a large fibrolipoma, a benign tumor that belongs to a subtype of typical lipomas.•Fibrolipomas are relatively uncommon in the oral cavity, comprising approximately 1–4.4 % of all benign tumors.•The case with a prominent intraoral fibrolipoma situated in the buccal mucosa, which was successfully treated through surgical excision.
