Intestinal Behçet's Disease

Abstract Behcet's disease (BD) is a systemic inflammatory disorder with a diverse spectrum of clinical manifestations including mucocutaneous, ocular, vascular, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and central nervous system involvement. It was first described by Professor Hulusi Behcet. The diagnosis is clinical. The prevalence of gastrointestinal manifestations of BD is variable among countries.
