In thoracic surgery, there are cases where percutaneous cardiopulmonary support( PCPS) is required during the perioperative period. Unfortunately, these cases often yield unfavorable treatment outcomes, leading to a high incidence of complications. To address these complications and enhance patient care, this article focuses on the management of PCPS-equipped patients, dividing the discussion into two key aspects:"characteristics of perioperative management for PCPS-equipped patients" and "complications to be cautious of and their corresponding countermeasures in PCPS-equipped patients."
