摘要
Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) has the highest mortality rate of all gynecologic malignancies. Although Black women have a lower incidence of ovarian cancer, they have worse outcomes than White women. Germline genetic testing for women diagnosed with EOC improves outcomes by allowing providers to offer therapies specific to those with mutations in Fanconi anemia pathway-related genes and enact preventative measures for affected family members. Our primary objective was to identify and compare the distribution of mutated genes in women with EOC by racial and ethnic subgroups. The secondary objective was to evaluate differences in the proportions of women with EOC who undergo germline genetic testing.
