摘要

•Leaching of heavy metals due to NO3 and SO4 in groundwater is discussed.•The ORP and pH alter with the increased NO3 and impact the dissolution process.•Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Se, and Pb in the column effluent were significantly positively correlated.•SO4 concentration of more than 500 ppm poses inhibitory action on metal mobilization.
