EP04.04-06 Low-Dose CT Iterative Reconstructions Can Impact Lung Nodule Measurements and Type Classification

Lung cancer screening is on the brink of implementation, meaning many countries worldwide will regularly be performing thoracic LDCT scans. Approximately 50% of high-risk participants will have ≥1 lung nodule present, and volumetric nodule measurements will be performed. As LDCT scan, reconstruction, and measurement protocols can vary by country, we investigated if iterative reconstruction kernels produced different nodule measurements than non-iterative.
