Presently, EnergyEnergy applications crisisSolar cell applications and environmentalEnvironmental Applications pollution are major problems in the world. The fossile fuels used today are polluting the environmentEnvironment as well as they have limited resources. Now a days, Nanomaterials are being used to provide an alternative source of energyEnergy. The development of new hybrid photocatalytic nanomaterials for soalsolarr cell application have lot of issues and challanges. In this book chapter, different kind of nanomaterials such as zinc oxideZinc Oxide (ZnO), titanium oxide (TiO2)Titanium Dioxide , nickel oxideNickel oxide (NiO) were used in dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs)DSSCs, organic solar cells (OSCs), and peroskite solar cells (PSCs). Different chemical methods were used for the synthesis of these nanomaterials. The properties of these hybridHybrid Semiconductor Nanomaterials photocatalytic nanomaterials are modified by using a different approach then overall helpful to enchace the power conversion efficiencyPCE (PCE) of solar cells. These hybrid nanomaterials were used as photoanode/photcathode in DSSCsDSSCs, while being used as hole transport layers (HTLs)/electron transport layers (ETL) in PSCs or OSCs. This chapter presents the hybridHybrid Semiconductor Nanomaterials nanomaterials and its technology for the development of renewable energyEnergy applications that will have important benefits for the society.
