Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze the evolution of environmental protection through constitutional legislation, presenting a comparative study among the Forest Codes that have been enacted in the country, namely those of 1934, 1964, and the current one from 2012. Materials and Methods: This study is of an applied and descriptive nature, employing methodological procedures such as bibliographic and documentary research.
