Modulating structures to decouple thermoelectric transports leads to high performance in polycrystalline SnSe

摘要
Introducing AgInSe 2 modifies the crystal and band structures to facilitate electrical transport of SnSe, and Ge alloying further depresses phonon transport. The effective phonon-electron decoupling leads to an ultrahigh ZT ∼ 1.6 at 773 K.
