Engineering application of new silica fume environmentally friendly cement slurry

Grouting reinforcement of tunnel surrounding rock is usually based on engineering experience and lacks theoretical research. The slurry used in grouting reinforcement generally has various problems, such as poor stability and poor fluidity. In this study, similar materials for the surrounding rock of a tunnel were prepared by the Taguchi grey relational analysis method. Additionally, a cement slurry with excellent performance was developed, which was compared with ordinary cement grouting materials and further studied via SEM. According to the complexity of engineering conditions, several groups of variables, such as grouting material, roughness, normal stress, curing conditions, grouting filling thickness and strength ratio, were set, and the damage constitutive equation was deduced. Through experiments and discrete element numerical simulations pf particle flow, the influence of grouting on the shear characteristics of solids was analyzed, and the mesoscopic fracture mechanism of the grout and rock was revealed, providing effective guidance for grouting reinforcement of tunnel surrounding rock. At a tunnel project site, the displacements of the surrounding rock before and after grouting were compared, and the results show the effective application of the results of this study.
