Analysis of Current Harmonic Sources in Mutually-Coupled Switched Reluctance Machine and Reduction Method Based on Improved PCI

摘要
The recently proposed mutually-coupled switched reluctance machine (MCSRM) is considered to have better performance than the conventional SRM (CSRM) in terms of vibration and noise. However, due to the inverter nonlinearity, manufacturing error, slotting effect, and saturation effect, the current will contain abundant harmonics which causes additional losses and heat and thus reduces the efficiency and reliability of the system. In this paper, firstly, the current harmonic sources will be analyzed and derived analytically in detail. Secondly, an improved proportional complex integral (PCI) controller is proposed to reduce the current harmonics. Then, the structure of the controller is designed and discretized to be implemented in the digital microprocessor. Finally, experiments are conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
