Research on the Application of Energy Consumption Monitoring Technology in the Construction of Pumped Storage Power Station

Pumped storage power station plays an important role in peak shaving, frequency regulation, voltage regulation, phase regulation and accident backup in the power grid, and the safety of the power system of the plant will directly affect the operation reliability of the power station due to frequent start and stop of the unit. In this paper, the principle of energy consumption monitoring technology, the composition, application scenarios and energy consumption evaluation methods of pumped storage power station energy consumption monitoring system are studied. Based on the integrated platform, the intelligent application of energy consumption monitoring system is developed, which realizes real-time monitoring, fault warning and positioning of energy consumption of plant power equipment, analyzes energy efficiency indicators, analyzes energy utilization and energy loss in the production process, and realizes the optimization and improvement of energy efficiency management system.
