Synthesis, anticancer evaluation, photophysical properties and molecular docking studies of new thiazolyl-thiadiazolyl ketones (D-π-A structured)

•New thiazolyl-thiadiazolyl ketones were synthesized and their structures were secured.•The absorbance and fluorescence maxima of thiazolyl-thiadiazolyl ketones are highly solvent-dependent.•The cytotoxicity of the synthesized ketones was investigated against four different cell lines.•The molecular docking stimulation for the synthesized ketones was looked at against the PDB: 5YJB protein.
