摘要
•S-FeCoO was synthesized and used as a catalyst for PMS activation.•S-FeCoO is superior to other Fe or Co-based catalysts in PMS activation to generate OH and SO4−.•Electron transfer from both Fe(II) and S2−/S22− greatly accelerated Co(III)/Co(II) redox cycle to boost PMS activation.•The S-FeCoO/PMS system showed superfast chloramphenicol degradation efficiency.
