摘要

•Due to the formation of a depletion layer, hardness of glass decreased at 106 Gy.•Depletion is dominated by diffusion mechanism, and diffusion coefficients of boron and sodium have been fitted.•The composition dependence of the depletion was explained with an energy barrier model.
