Prevalence and impact of human papillomavirus (HPV) in adults with cystic fibrosis: A self-reported cross-sectional Canadian survey

•Nearly half of female pwCF had an abnormal Pap smear.•12% reported at least one HPV-associated complication.•Both male and female pwCF reported high psychosocial burden related to HPV disease.•60% of adult pwCF are unvaccinated for HPV; over half were >35 years of age.•80% of adult pwCF never discussed HPV vaccination with their CF care providers.
