摘要
Nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) samples were prepared by the modified sol–gel technique which is an effective, simple, and rapid synthesis method. Multiferroic composites of nickel ferrite and barium titanate (NiFe2O4-BaTiO3) in the ratio 1:1, 1:2, 2:1 as well as composites of nickel zinc ferrite and barium titanate (Ni1-xZnxFe2O4-BaTiO3) in the ratio 2:1 were synthesized by solid-state reaction method. The formation of nickel ferrite and barium titanate heterogeneous composites was identified using X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD). Magnetic properties were studied using vibrating sample magnetometer at 300 K. The coexistence of ferroelectric and ferromagnetic order confirmed through Magneto-electric (ME) coupling measurement.
