Abstract
In response to the issues of safe operation and capacity expansion caused by distributed photovoltaic and increasing power load in county distribution station, an energy storage (ES) planning method is proposed to improve power supply capacity and renewable energy generation consumption. Firstly, a set of typical scenarios covering various daily loads and photovoltaic power generation characteristics is constructed by the backward reduction method for scenario reduction. Then a two-layer planning model for ES in in county distribution station is established for typical scenarios. A solution method based on ordered discrete variables is proposed to eliminating the coupling relationships between the two layers. Finally, different cases are used to analyze the applicability of the ES planning method.
